it was well animated, even if it was a bit on the short side. Considering that it's intended to be included into a collab, it's length isn't that much of a detriment. Well done.

I have to admit, it took me quite a while to look at all the details that you put into this loop. I see your 666 series is getting better with each additonal entry that you make.
I truely enjoyed the music that you chose for this flash, it really lent to the creepy, nigh despondand feel of the whole flick. Your subliminal skills are getting better as well I see. (Of course that's could also be due to the fact that one is spending so much time noticing all the little details that you've included in the background.)
I'll sum up by saying that while it didn't deserve TOTW due to the excellent nature of your drawing skills, it does give it a certain prestege as being one of the few turds that are rather quite watchable. One can only hope that you can get a tablet soon and display your talents more effectively.

I found this to be rather quite a thought provoking film. While combining the stock footage of the implosions of modern structures in the background hinting at the fall of modern society (to me at least) juxtaposed by the post-modern artistic style for the foreground implying both regrowth, the passage of time, as well as a desire for a unification of peoples as well as the soothing sounds of birdcalls as the sounds made for a quite interesting viewing experience. While it may be that I may have misinterpreted this film, I feel that this work of art is something that ranks amongst some of the most interesting modern art that I've seen in quite a while. I applaud your desire to share this work with the masses and encourage you to continue in your endevors.
Thank you very much.

I like this movie, I found it to be very amusing. The only real problem that I had was that the sound didn't sync up. That however was a comparatively miniscule problem in comparison with the rest of the film however.
The graphics can only be described as art. A veritable cornacopia for the eyes as it were.
I found the humor of god trying to lick his own elbow, then the effects of what happened to be rather quite original. Then to tie it to the end only heightened the laughability of the joke.
Overall, I found this to be an enjoyable film, even with the minor problem with the sound. Keep up the great work.

Once in a rare while I do come across a movie that is capable of changing one's opinion so much, it's difficult to actually review it. This is one of those films. I ended up watching this movie over and over again, trying to come up with something to say other than just "wow, that was mindblowing," and after a day's worth of contimplation, I think I have.
The graphics were allright, but that's not the reason that you made the movie, in fact had you used flashy drawing and high-end special effects, I think it would've detracted from the message you were trying to convey.
Sound was excellent, but again, that wasn't the point of your movie.
I found myself amused at some points, but humour isn't what you were going for, in fact, I think using a lot of humour would've been the most detremental thing one could've done, considering that this is a fairly serious film.
I would consider it a tad bit violent, as there is blood, but I'm digressing from the main point of this film, it's style, and the message that it drives home.
While the pre-movie section tended to portray the tendancy of the music industry to tell people what genre of music each artist performs in, then beats it into the ground, the movie section actually drives home the point on how this is also true of movies made by people on the internet. Many sites, including this one, tend to showcase films that are the most likely to get traffic through, leaving several excellent films sitting on the backself as they're not the type of movie that would draw in a large audience. Some of those are rather quite thought provoking, and while they should at least get some type of notice, they instead languish in anonimity.
As for anything bad, I really can't think of anything that really detracted from the film all that much. You artfuly were able to get your point across, then hammer it home through the use of text in the movie section. I guess the only thing I could say that was in any way problematic in my case is that the text went by a tad bit quick in the movie, I had to watch it twice just to make sure I didn't miss out on any of your statements made therein.
In the end while I could've followed what you told me to do and give it a 0, I'm horrible at following direction and decided that a film that is this well done with an excellent story deserved a 5 out of 5, and a ten out of ten. Excellent work.

I have to admit, I had to laugh at the fact that the pre-movie section was a movie, whilst the movie itself was just text. Not to mention that at the end you wanted people to vote 0 (I had to give ya at least a 1 for that)
On to the actual review.
The graphics were decent, at least for the pre-movie.
The sound pretty clear as well, I didn't have to turn down my speakers either which is always appreciated.
For style, it was different, I'll give you that. In fact I was pretty amused all the way through it (then again I was impressed you did it in only 10 hours without it looking unfinished)
Humor is always appreciated, and this one has it in abundance.
I guess one could consider it violent, seeing as in the pre-movie you had a flower running around shooting things. Mind you, it wasn't gore style violence as well as the violence did have a positive end effect (i.e. cleaning up a polluted environment) but it was violence none the less.
It had a play button, so I guess it had some interactivity, but seeing as I didn't spend a whole lot of time rooting around for easter eggs, it might have been more interactive than what I scored it for.
The only real drawbacks I can come up with are that the text in the "movie" part of the film did blend in a tad bit with the background on my computer. (It might just be my settings for contrast, brightness, etc.) That and in your comments you mentioned "I stole this animation from Legendary Frog," but when I decided to check his works, including those both here and those on his site, I didn't spot it anywhere.
In summary, thanks for something that caught me offgaurd enough to make me laugh, and for showing what can be done in only 10 hours.
Author's Response:
Thanks :DDDDD:D::XD:X:DDXD
It'd be better if it were done in 3 hours, because 10 hours is too fucking long for something this short.
Thanks for the review! Gavame somea motivationa OOOOOO YOU GAVE ME MOTIVATION!!! OOOOOh!

The animation was well done and ran smoother than a lot of the shows I've seen. The cutscene where you used perspective was very well done (even better than some of the stuff you see on TV these days) and showed the supurb amount of skill and work that you put into this film. Having it cut away to the text was an interesting change from what is usually done in most films, rather than have it all at the begining. It broke up the fight scene and helped keep the viewer's attention. The sound was clear and wasn't overpowering for the film. I thought it was very well done and it is a much appreciated additon to newgrounds.
As for the things that I found to be mildly detracting to the film, few and insigificant that they truely are include the fact that the outlines of the charicters is left in sketch style. While it does imply movement and stylistically works with the movie, it does give a bit of an unfinished look to it. I also felt the opening text stayed on the screen a couple of seconds too long, though that's more of a personal opinion and didn't detract from the film in any way either. Overall it's a great movie and I rather enjoyed watching it. Thank you for sharing it.

"OMMFG, did I see what I thought I saw..."
In Revnant's part of the collab, I swear I saw a cloud doing goatsie 0.0 NFW I had to LOL when I realized what it was the second time through.
Other than that I found the whole making fun of god stuff worth a chuckle. I'm betting there's not gonna be a lot of others that'll find the humour in it. You guys do put out what can only be described as some of the most, how to word it, unique films out there. Sure, some may end up looking similar in style to others, but in the end, they're not like anything else you'll see on the web.

I loved this film. It's morbid and yet funny while also being traumatizing and cute all at the same time.
I liked the fact that while introducing your charicters in this first episode you provided some backstory for Trash, including the origin of his name. I hope that you make more in this series and keep up the quality that you've shown in this.

No offence meant, but the graphics looked a little rushed, especially when you changed the means of moving the mouth for Brando in the final scene of the film. The sound was a tad bit quiet whilst Brando was speaking as well in comparison to the rest of the film making him a bit more difficult to hear. Other than that, it was a pretty amusing film and an auspicious begining to a series.
Author's Response:
No offence taken. I'm not that concerned with the graphics being perfect or even that good. I'm mainly concerned with the story, frankly i changed brando to a trash can head at the end cause I thought it would be funny... no other reason. The sound with Brando is quieter then the rest for two reasons Brando speaks fairly softly and is hard to understand anyway and secondly I recorded the dialogue in my apartment and couldn't turn the mic up any louder without hearing my next door neighbour taking a dump while beating off on the audio track.
